Holiday Wishes; England, 1926

... and a Happy New Year!

No reference to Good King Fencislas...

These are  the holiday wishes of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald H. Corble (1883-1944). English Olympic fencing champion Corble was the compiler of a magnificent collection of fencing books now known as the famous Corble Collection in Leuven. This note was sent out at the conclusion of 1926. Corble helped himself to an image from Sainct Didier… and did not go to extravagant expense printing the card.
